I need ideas

I have found myself, yet again, dreaming of opening up my very own LYS. This is something I have been dreaming about doing for about a year now. Realistically, I wont start doing this until my youngest is in school full time, so I've got a few more years of planning and dreaming ahead of me. But, in the meantime, I'm having a blast researching (yes, I'm a geek) and planning. So, my fellow yarn addicts, what do you love the most about your LYS? What would you love to see in a LYS? What is your dream knitting environment? Any ideas for a store name? Come on, I need INPUT people!...lmao

Oh. My. Did you post this before, or after, OTE's dream thread? LOL

LOTS of natural fibers in every price range. From basic inexpensive wool and cotton to handpainted specialty yarns (locally spun?) and dreamy cashmere.

A HUGE variety of needles (including 12" Addi Turbo circs. and those 8" plastic circs that I can't remember who makes them and wish they came in more sizes). I want yarn and needles when I want yarn and needles...I hate waiting for Internet orders. I may lose interest in a project if I can't get what I need NOW.

Copies of free patterns displayed with the yarn to make them.

Yarn winding, offered at no additional charge.

A HUGE variety of knit and crochet books and magazines.

Computer access for when I've found something on Knitty.com that I want to make but forgot to bring the print out. Also, Internet ordering for those days I just can't manage to drive across town.

Coffee and tea. Comfy chairs. Classes. Scheduled live demos of related crafts--spinning, dying, etc. Hosting of Stitch & Bitch groups.

I'll probably think of more. :-D
